Sr Manager Procurement

As a Procurement Manager at our company, your role will involve independently handling the procurement function and leading a team of 8-10 members in Gurugram. You should have prior experience in O&M procurement for Wind, Solar, and Hydro projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring adherence to processes for order placements - Conducting vendor evaluation and annual rating - Demonstrating strong leadership qualities - Managing a team of 8-10 members effectively - Knowledge of procurement from overseas vendors - Compiling material purchase requisitions and sending RFQs to approved vendors - Managing offers and placing orders post approvals - Timely repair of failed materials - Understanding contract terms and conditions In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be accountable for: - Adhering to safety norms during procurement and contract execution - Coordinating for timely availability of quality materials at optimal prices - Managing the complete P2P cycle for materials and contracts - Utilizing ERP systems such as SAP for order placement - Developing new vendors and assessing their performance - Establishing a strong vendor base across India - Familiarity with import procedures - Creating presentations and managing MIS effectively To be eligible for this role, you should have: - Education: B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics; Specialization in SCM is an added advantage - Experience: Minimum 8-12 years of independent procurement handling - Proficiency in SAP MM Module - Strong leadership and communication skills You will be interacting with various teams including the business, domestic/international suppliers, SAP, warehouse, finance, and top management to ensure seamless operations.,
