As a selected student for this position, you will undergo a comprehensive 18-month training program that includes both classroom sessions and on-the-job training. The focus of this training will be on the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of various types of generating plants such as Thermal and Hydros, Transmission Receiving Stations, Distribution Sub Stations, as well as Renewable Energy Sites including Solar and Wind installations. Job Requirements Provide foundation package input to front -end project development. Define and lead technical studies to inform key project decisions. Develop the technical portion of the package requisitions including technical specifications and information requirements and support supply chain engagement. Work closely with the Quality lead to define test and inspection requirements Lead the technical bid evaluation Performance manage contractor package engineering Technical verification of contractor engineering including design views Review and approve deviations Verify supplier documentation and manage the document review process, inform inspector visits and support client verification of construction work. Support technical queries from other project functions, particularly operations and commissioning Verify package technical close-out and recommend readiness to ship Capture lessons at key stages during the package management lifecycle to continuously improve portfolio technical knowledge. Deliver foundation innovation, technology and design that optimize the LCoE of the portfolio. Work Experience Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline Demonstrated technical competency in structural engineering discipline with broad understanding of the applicable codes and standards for the scope. Fluent written and spoken English language. Significant experience of project design stages (pre-FEED/FEED/detailed design) A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience of offshore structures. Understanding of the interfaces and interaction with supporting engineering disciplines for the scope of this package, particularly geotechnical Understand technical risk identification and management process to deliver safe and competitive projects. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across functions and within multi-disciplinary teams Desirable Criteria: Chartered Engineering Experience of technology development Understand quality Management process for engineering, manufacture and installation Understand technical aspects of competitive procurement process Ability in performance management of others (including 3rd party engineering service providers) to support timely decision making. Explore Gound level situation of site: Assess the terrain, soil and other gound level factors that could impact the project. 3. Logistic route survey to reach the site: Identify and evaluate the best routes for tranasporting equipment and materials to the site. 4. Preparation and submission report of the site Feasibility: Compile a detailed report on the feasibility of the site of the project, including all findings and recommendations. 5. Wind Mast location identification: Determine the optimal locations for installing wind masts to measure wind speed and direction. 6. Wind Mast Drawing: Create detailed drawings and plans for wind mast installations. 7. WTG land identification. 8. Geographical data of the site. 9. Coordination of WTG Land with WRA 10. Collect all required drawings related to finalise WTG land 11. Verification of Possesion Vs Records. 12. DILR measurement work 13.
