Sr Manager - Physical Security Services

As a Senior Manager- Physical Security Services at Tata Communications in Pune, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the organization's facilities and operations. Your responsibilities will include: - **Risk Assessment and Security Planning:** - Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks and threats. - Develop and implement comprehensive physical security plans and policies to mitigate risks. - Design and implement security measures for buildings, perimeters, and critical infrastructure. - Work with Real Estate, Facilities, and project teams on office designs to ensure alignment with industry best practices and security standards. - **Security Project Management:** - Manage the project of physical security system installations or upgrades. - **Access Control Management & Security Systems Management:** - Implement physical and electronic access control measures, including employee cards and visitor management procedures. - Manage employee access levels and assign appropriate security clearances. - Design, install, maintain, and monitor physical security systems in alignment with security standards and strategies. - **Surveillance And Monitoring Systems:** - Install and maintain CCTV cameras, intrusion detection systems, and other surveillance technologies. - Monitor security camera feeds and respond to alerts promptly. - Regularly review Control Room operations and analyze various records. - **Security Personnel Management:** - Recruit, hire, and train security guards and officers. - Supervise security personnel and ensure adherence to security protocols. - Evaluate performance, provide feedback, and conduct periodical reviews. - **Emergency Response And Incident Management/Investigations:** - Develop and practice emergency response procedures for various scenarios. - Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during incidents. - Investigate security incidents, breaches, and losses, and prepare detailed reports. - **Budget Management:** - Plan and manage the physical security budget. - Evaluate new security technologies and make procurement recommendations. - Drive value with effective contract management for security services. - **Audit & Compliance:** - Ensure adherence to security and fire-safety regulations and industry standards. - Generate regular security reports and present findings to senior authorities. - Assist and coordinate internal and external audits. In addition to the responsibilities, the following desired skills and qualifications are preferred: - Strong understanding of physical security principles and best practices. - Proven experience in managing security personnel and operations. - Proficiency in security systems and technologies. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. - Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to security and fire-safety practices. Preferred qualifications include candidates from a security background, preferably from the Armed Forces with multi-faced experience in security operations.
