As a Sr Gov Relations Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the company's government relations strategy. - Build and maintain relationships with government officials, industry associations, and other stakeholders
- Advocate for Honeywells positions on legislative and regulatory issues through effective communication and engagement
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and analyze their impact on the companys operations and business objectives
- Develop strategies to address potential challenges and leverage opportunities arising from government policies and regulations
- Represent Honeywell in industry forums, conferences, and events to promote the companys interests and enhance its reputation
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align government relations efforts with business objectives and provide strategic advice on policy matters
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
- Lead a team of Government Relations Specialists
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- 10+ years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of government processes, policies, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
WE VALUE
- Master's Degree, MA/MBA in Political science or Economics, public administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory landscape.
- Experience in a corporate government relations role, preferably in the technology or manufacturing sector.
