Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Facilities Engineer at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the maintenance and operational aspects of the organization's physical facilities. Your focus will be on ensuring functionality, safety, and sustainability while adhering to industry standards and regulations. You will contribute to the overall success of the business by enhancing productivity, efficiency, and providing a safe environment for employees and customers. Key Responsibilities: - Lead facility management professionals and foster a high-performance culture - Oversee day-to-day operations including cafeteria, transportation, and seat management - Manage maintenance schedule and ensure functionality and safety of building systems - Plan, execute, and close facility-related projects within budget and timeline - Optimize space utilization, manage office movements, and ensure compliance with space standards - Support cafeteria services, employee engagement activities, and new joinee inductions - Assist in various audits related to travel, cafeteria, transportation, and HSE - Support Global Real Estate in setting up new factories and branding initiatives - Coordinate with travel desk for domestic and international travel requests, oversee travel budgets, and enforce comprehensive travel policies - Work on cab hire and employee transportation initiatives to reduce carbon footprint - Implement safety protocols, manage security systems, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations - Support green initiatives and carbon-neutral practices within the organization - Manage vendor selection processes and develop vendor performance reports Qualifications: You Must Have: - Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline - Minimum of 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance - Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment - Proven leadership and management skills - Experience with budget management We Value: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field - Strong leadership and decision-making skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives Note: The company, Honeywell, helps organizations address complex challenges in automation, aviation, and energy transition.
