Job Description

Role & responsibilities

To be responsible for managing trade relationships and generating sales in the concerned area.

  • Generating secondary sales through best in shop visibility and availability.
  • Developing and maintaining good relationship in the trade and giving value addition to the customer and consumer.

To ensure sales growth.

  • Ensuring increased distribution coverage and merchandising of Del Montes brands.

To effectively manage distribution partners.

  • Identifying distributors.
  • Ensuring proper coverage of the outlets in the area assigned to the distributor.
  • Managing distributors salesmen.
  • Ensuring FIFO in distributors warehouse and outlets.

To identify outlets for deployment of Point of Sales Material (POSM).

  • To understand the salience of the outlets for the products.
  • To track high volume and image driven outlets.

To manage the customer and consumer.

  • Negotiating with the customers and intervening in the operational issues.
  • Building relationships with clients and customers.
  • Registering and following-up consumer complaints.

To execute activities related to sales budget and forecasting.

  • Executing the Sales budget and assisting the Area Sales Manager in sales forecasting.
  • Ensuring timely reporting to the senior

To ensure training and management of teams.

  • Working and coordinating teams to produce results by splitting targets within the team.
  • Training of distributor salesmen and logistics staff.
  • Training them to gather relevant information for reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge: Understanding of retail business Product Knowledge Information on market and competition

Skills: Negotiation skills Good interpersonal skill Analytical ability Influencing skill Planning and Problem Solving ability Decision Making skill Excellent selling skill

Attitude: Self-motivator Eye for Detail Excellent business acumen Dynamic and exploratory

Educational Level Graduation: Any specialization Post-Graduation (Must have) : PGDM/ MBA in Marketing or Sales Management.

Working Experience Must have: 3-6 years of handling the retail channel, preferably in Food or Beverage industry.
