Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Head
Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Executive – Production to oversee and manage day-to-day production operations in our Polymer Masterbatch manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in handling production planning, machine operations, manpower management, and quality control within the masterbatch/plastics processing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily production activities to meet production targets and timelines.
• Operate and monitor twin-screw extruders, mixers, and other masterbatch production machinery.
• Coordinate raw material planning, feeding, and batch preparations.
• Implement and monitor SOPs and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality Control, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Minimize downtime by ensuring preventive maintenance and quick troubleshooting of machinery.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, and process parameters accurately.
• Train and guide shift operators and floor staff to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
• Assist in scaling up new product trials and ensure smooth handover to production.
• Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards on the shop floor.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of masterbatch production processes (Black, White, Color, Additive MB).
• Experience with twin-screw extruders (e.g., Coperion, Leistritz, Steer, etc.).
• Good understanding of pigments, polymers (PP, PE, PS, ABS, etc.), and additives.
• Manpower and shift management skills.
• Ability to analyze process deviations and take corrective actions.
• Basic knowledge of ISO, 5S, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, ERP systems.

Qualifications:

• Diploma B.Tech in Polymer Engineering / Plastic Technology..
• Additional certifications in production or lean manufacturing (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹848,523.00 per year
