Job Description

Category & Vendor Management

  • Manage procurement of food and non-food categories including groceries, dairy, poultry, vegetables, cleaning chemicals, and disposables.
  • Lead tendering and vendor negotiation processes (L1, L2, L3) to ensure optimal pricing and quality.
  • Evaluate, onboard, and manage suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality, service, and audit standards.
  • Forecast material requirements and plan purchases to ensure uninterrupted supply.

Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization

  • Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends to identify sourcing opportunities and innovations.
  • Track YoY/MoM savings, inflation trends, and cost avoidance initiatives.
  • Drive cost-saving and yield-improvement initiatives across procurement categories and franchise networks.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Oversee PO processing, GRN compilation, and vendor audit documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to FSSAI, ISO, and other statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with regional supply chain and internal teams to meet operational procurement needs.
  • Support CSR, Fill Rate, and vendor audit reporting for management and compliance reviews.

Performance & Risk Management

  • Track key procurement KPIs and metrics to ensure cost efficiency and service-level performance.
  • Identify potential risks in supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain transparent reporting and data accuracy across ERP and procurement systems.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Graduate / Post Graduate in Commerce, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 3-6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in Food, QSR, or Hospitality industry.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tools.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with sound judgment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
