Sr Engineer Well Completions

Role Overview: As a Completion Engineer, your main responsibility will be to provide engineering and supervision support on the rig for ongoing operations related to completion equipment usage, shore base preparation, and compliance with completion/intervention/testing programs. You will also be involved in identifying materials and personnel requirements, documenting lessons learned, incident investigations, and optimizing drilling/completion designs for development. Key Responsibilities: - Provide engineering and supervision support for completion operations on the rig, ensuring compliance with programs and engineering practices. - Identify materials and personnel needed for upcoming operations and plan material movement and logistics. - Record lessons learned, identify improvement opportunities, and document them for review. - Conduct incident investigations and document findings. - Review well designs and develop optimized drilling/completion designs. - Prepare detailed procedures and programs for various completion operations such as wellbore cleanout, lower & upper completion installation, coiled tubing, DST, and well intervention. - Evaluate completion alternatives to ensure cost-effective technology is employed. - Coordinate completion design studies and review third-party equipment certification. - Assist in preparing completion AFE & budget and ensure stock availability of completion equipment. - Liaise with warehouse team for equipment movement and inventory management. - Participate in planning meetings, hazard identification, and preparation of SOW and RFP for completion equipment and services. - Utilize engineering software for simulations and provide inputs for field development plans. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering. - 4 to 6 years of experience in drilling & completions, preferably in deepwater. - Experience in high-pressure/temperature or under-balanced drilling environments. - Completion of specialized industry courses in lower and upper completions, completion fluids, wellbore cleanout, coiled tubing, DST, etc. - Proficiency in completions engineering principles and software applications.
