Job Description

Position Overview:

The PMO role is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving project management standards, processes, and tools across the organization. This position supports project managers, leadership, and cross-functional teams in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives. The PMO also provides visibility into project performance, risk management, and resource utilization to enable informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project management frameworks, policies, templates, and best practices.

  • Monitor and track project portfolios, programs, and individual project performance against KPIs.

  • Provide governance and assurance by ensuring adherence to project management methodologies.

  • Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, and executive summaries for senior management.

  • Support project managers with tools, techniques, and training to enhance delivery capabilities.

  • Facilitate portfolio prioritization, resource allocation, and capacity planning.

  • Identify, assess, and escalate project risks and issues while supporting mitigation strategies.

  • Drive standardization of project documentation and knowledge sharing across the organization.

  • Coordinate post-project reviews and lessons learned to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Act as a liaison between project teams, functional leaders, and executive management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in project management or PMO roles.

  • PMP / MSP, Power Bi, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Power BI, etc. ).

  • Experience in portfolio and program management.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
