Job Summary:

MAS Industries Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and driven Sr. Design Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team. This role is ideal for professionals with 4 - 7 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the elevator or manufacturing industry. The position requires advanced knowledge of design software, production processes, and a deep understanding of engineering standards. You will be responsible for leading complex design projects, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new elevator components and systems from concept to production
• Create accurate 2D and 3D production drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Prepare detailed BOMs and perform cost estimations for new and existing designs
• Review and approve design drawings for quality and compliance
• Develop and maintain installation manuals, technical catalogues, and other documentation
• Ensure all designs are manufacturable and meet industry standards
• Lead product validation through simulations and design calculations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for design implementation
• Conduct feasibility studies and assess design performance, safety, cost, and timelines
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements in the design team

Skills Required:

• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (3D Modelling, Sheetmetal)
• Experience with SolidWorks Composer for documentation
• Proficiency in MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of ANSYS or other simulation tools
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Good communication skills – verbal and written
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Automobile Engineering
• Experience: 4 – 7 years in Mechanical Design (Elevator or Machinery Industry preferred)
• Location Preference: Candidates from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, or nearby areas
