Sr Design Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in designing liquid and pharmaceutical packaging machinery, your role will involve working closely with production and service teams. You will be responsible for designing packaging lines for pharma products such as ampoules, vials, eye-ear drops, and pre-fill syringes. Additionally, you will design non-pharma complete packaging lines and liquid packaging machines including rinsing, washing, filling, capping, labeling, shrinking, cartoning, and tube filling. Key Responsibilities: - Design HVAC systems and utilities for various applications like pharmaceutical project coordination, HVAC system design, and documentation. - Create 2D & 3D models and components using various software. - Design piping and ducting layouts for packaging equipment in the pharmaceutical industry. - Optimize existing designs to meet customer specifications. - Utilize CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other relevant design tools effectively. - Ensure compliance with pharma industry regulations and standards like CGMP, FDA, and ISO related to machinery design. - Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and communicate efficiently. - Integrate new technologies into machine design with an innovation-driven mindset. - Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with strong organizational skills. Qualifications Required: - BE/ B.Tech/ M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. - 3-5 years of experience in designing liquid and pharmaceutical packaging machinery. - Strong understanding of industry-specific requirements and regulations. - Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively. - Track record of integrating new technologies into machine design. - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
