Sr. Data Scientist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist with hands-on experience in Generative AI (GenAI) and Machine Learning (ML) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, a passion for solving real-world problems, and experience working with clients in on-site environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy GenAI-based solutions including RAG, CRAG, SLMs, LLM fine-tuning, tool calling, and advanced prompt engineering.

• Design, build, and evaluate machine learning models (Supervised, Unsupervised, and Time-Series models). • Deploy models to cloud platforms, on-premises infrastructure, or edge devices as needed.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.

• Handle on-site client engagements, demonstrating strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Continuously explore new tools, technologies, and approaches in AI/ML.

• Contribute to the innovation culture by bringing analytical and critical thinking into everyday problem-solving.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.

• Hands-on experience in Generative AI: RAG, CRAG, SLMs, fine-tuning LLMs, prompt engineering, and tool calling.

• Strong foundation in ML algorithms: classification, regression, unsupervised learning, and time-series forecasting.

• Proven experience with model deployment on cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and onprem/edge environments.

• Proficient in Python and popular ML frameworks/libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Hugging Face, LangChain).

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client interaction skills. Good to Have:

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in Image Processing using OpenCV, PyTorch, Keras, or TensorFlow.

• Exposure to MLOps practices and tools. • Experience with enterprise-level AI/ML solutions and PoCs.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
