Sr Customer Quality Engineer

The Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to customers. As a part of Gilbarco Veeder-Root's Global Quality team, you will be responsible for providing tailored quality assurance to assigned customers. Your main focus will be to establish effective communication channels, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive quality improvements swiftly to resolve issues. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining communication channels for consistent issue resolution, reviewing and approving corrective actions, conducting follow-up audits, and managing corrective actions through the online system. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver quality assurance support, define and implement quality improvement programs, and interact directly with customers for product-related matters. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing and reporting customer quality data, attending customer meetings, conducting process audits for compliance, and supporting customer program reviews. The role may require up to 60% domestic and international travel. To be successful in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. You should have 6-8+ years of experience in quality assurance, customer support, or engineering roles, preferably in manufacturing or product development. Experience with PPAP, APQP, and ATEX compliance is preferred, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools, quality management systems, Lean Management principles, and root cause analysis methodologies is essential.
