Sr. Consultant - SAP ABAP HANA

As a Senior Consultant - SAP ABAP HANA, you will be instrumental in advancing the organization's SAP capabilities, specifically focusing on ABAP programming within the HANA environment. Your proficiency in HANA's in-memory database technology will empower you to create robust and optimized solutions that enhance overall business performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, understanding business requirements, and translating them into technical specifications will be integral to your role. Moreover, you will utilize advanced data modeling techniques for data-driven decision-making and tackle intricate technical challenges to boost system efficiencies. - Design and develop ABAP programs within the HANA environment. - Enhance existing code for better performance. - Conduct data modeling and database design in HANA. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications. - Generate technical documentation for solutions developed. - Perform unit testing and ensure quality assurance. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks. - Create custom reports and interfaces based on user specifications. - Collaborate closely with functional consultants to integrate ABAP solutions. - Provide assistance during system upgrades and migrations. - Deliver training sessions for end-users and junior consultants. - Engage in project planning and estimation activities. - Implement SAP best practices. - Apply security best practices in ABAP development. - Keep abreast of the latest SAP technologies and trends. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience. - Profound understanding of HANA database architecture. - Hands-on experience with SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP). - Proficiency in object-oriented ABAP programming. - Knowledge of web services and APIs in SAP. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. - Previous consulting experience is advantageous. - Capability to mentor and guide junior consultants. - Proven ability to collaborate effectively in team settings. - SAP certification in ABAP or HANA is a bonus. - Willingness to travel for project-related activities. - Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is beneficial.,
