Job Description

Role Overview: As a Construction Quality Engineer, your role involves carrying out inspections as per the inspection and test plan, and reporting the results within the specified time. You will need to study drawings and specifications applicable to the job, have a clear understanding of the job being inspected, and conduct technical surveillance/audit in a timely manner. Reviewing ITPs, procedures, and formats submitted by Contractors/Vendors is also a key responsibility. Additionally, attendance at seminars and successful completion of identified training modules are essential for skill enhancement. Key Responsibilities: - Carry out inspection as per the inspection and test plan - Report the results within the specified time - Study drawings and specifications applicable to the job - Conduct technical surveillance/audit and prepare reports - Review ITPs, procedures, and formats submitted by Contractors/Vendors - Attend seminars and training sessions - Complete identified training modules as planned Qualification Required: - Graduate/Diploma Engineer in a relevant discipline - Minimum 7-12 years of experience for graduates and 14-19 years for Diploma holders in discipline-specific QA/QC functions in EPC activities of Refinery, Petrochemical, Infrastructure projects, etc. - Desirable: NDT Level II in RT, UT, PT, MT & VT (Mech) Additional Company Details: The company values the application of statistical techniques, code & standard interpretation, quality planning, and implementation of process controls. Knowledge of SAP modules, field quality control, inspection, testing, organizing and conducting technical audits are essential. For Construction Quality Engineer - Mechanical, knowledge of welding materials, metallurgy, fabrication codes, welding processes, NDT processes, and ITP is required. For Construction Quality Engineer - Civil, knowledge of civil construction, batching plant operation, civil materials, concrete mix design, and earthworks are essential.,
