Sr. Construction Quality Engineer

Carrying out inspection as per inspection and test plan, responsibility, Inspection & Test Plans, Procedures, specifications, and issuing/certifying reports within the specified time. Carrying out testing within the specified time and reporting the results, along with studying relevant drawings & specifications. Having a clear understanding of the job being inspected and performing technical surveillance/audit and preparing reports on time. Reviewing ITPs, Procedures, and formats submitted by Contractors/Vendors within the specified time. Education Requirement: Graduate/Diploma Engineer in a relevant discipline. Experience Requirement: Necessary: Minimum 7-12 years for graduates and 14-19 years for Diploma holders in discipline-specific QA/QC functions in EPC activities of Refinery, Petrochemical, Infrastructure projects, etc. Desirable: Possessing NDT Level #II in RT, UT, PT, MT & VT (Mech.). Skills & Competencies: - Application of statistical techniques. - Interpretation of codes & standards. - Auditing related job systems such as ITP, Quality Plan, Work Procedures, and Specifications. - Knowledge of quality planning and implementing process controls through Quality Control Procedures (QCPs). - Proficiency in preparing presentations, training booklets, documents, and report writing. - Field quality control, inspection, and testing. - Organizing and conducting technical audits. - Familiarity with SAP Modules. For Construction Quality Engineer - Mechanical: - Knowledge of codes and standards for welding, materials, metallurgy, including heat treatment. - Understanding fabrication codes and standards covering Inspection, Welding technology, PWHT, etc. - Welding process qualification, different types of welding, and effective problem-solving. - Familiarity with various welding and NDT processes, reviewing fabrication drawings to minimize welding NDT and PWHT issues. - Understanding ITP and dossier booklets, record compilation. For Construction Quality Engineer - Civil: - Understanding all Civil construction aspects like fireproofing, insulation, refractory. - Knowledge of batching plant operation activities. - Familiarity with Civil materials, their properties, and testing. - Concrete Mix Design proficiency. - Understanding the specifications and code requirements for various jobs. - Expertise in all types of civil material testing. - Experience in Earthworks & Bituminous work.,
