We have an urgent requirement for a Pipe Welding Engineer with good years of experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Pipe Spool Fabrication. You are seeking a Lead Engineer Manager/ Quality Manager with substantial experience in Oil & Gas Fabrication and Pipe Spool Fabrication. As a Lead Engineer Manager/ Quality Manager, your responsibilities will include conducting inspections in accordance with the inspection and test plan for Pipe Spool Fabrication. This entails tasks such as material verification, fit-up checking, coating, and blasting inspections. You will also be responsible for reviewing procedures for quality assurance, assigning welding procedures, conducting welder training and qualification, surveillance during welding, welding visual inspection, radiography/AUT marking, radiography film reviewing and/or witnessing AUT, repair checking, and final clearance and certification through an online application. In terms of knowledge base, it is required that you possess knowledge of ASME B 31.3, Chapter V and VI, common materials such as different grades of carbon steels, LTCS, NACE, different grades of stainless steels like 304, 304L, 316, 321, and 347, as well as different grades of LAS steels including P11, P22, P5, P9, and P91. Additionally, you should be familiar with welding consumables, welding procedure requirements, welder qualification as per ASME Sec IX, welding inspection and acceptance, NACE Level II and Level III for coatings, NDE Level II, PWHT, and hardness checking as per ASME B 31.3, and radiography/UT/PT/MPT inspection as per ASME B 31.3.
