Sr. Business Development Associate

Business Development - Investment Banking

Job Description:

We are hiring a Business Development professional for our Investment Banking division. This is a client-facing role focused on identifying new business opportunities with corporates, startups, and high-growth companies.

The candidate should be proactive, commercially driven, and capable of building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with corporates and startups
• Build and manage a strong client pipeline through outreach, research, and networking
• Track market trends and identify growth opportunities
• Coordinate with founders and senior management teams
• Support client meetings, networking events, and business initiatives
• Work with internal teams on sector and geography-based outreach strategies
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions in the CRM system
• Prepare reports on business development pipeline and conversions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Marketing, Sales, or related field
• 2 to 7 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, consulting, or business development roles

Key Skills:

• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Sales and negotiation experience
• Good understanding of investment banking and capital markets
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Details:

• Working hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Working days: 5.5 days (alternate Saturdays, all Sundays off)
• Travel required: Up to 20 percent
