Description
Role Overview: As a Senior BizOps Engineer at Ethoca & Mastercard, you will collaborate with globally diverse teams to support mission-critical applications running on-premises and in Azure's public cloud. You will provide support for Ethoca's 24/7 hardware, software, and public cloud environments, design and manage end-to-end solutions, and assist with business requirements planning and implementation in a highly secure computing infrastructure. Additionally, you will manage multiple projects, participate in customer and regulatory audits, and create technical documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with globally diverse teams to support mission-critical applications in on-premises and Azure's public cloud. - Provide support for Ethoca's 24/7 hardware, software, and public cloud environments. - Design and manage end-to-end solutions in a highly secure computing infrastructure. - Assist with business requirements planning, installation, configuration, optimization, and support for innovative technical solutions. - Manage multiple projects while ensuring business as usual tasks are completed. - Participate in customer and regulatory audits, including PCI-DSS and SOC-II compliance frameworks. - Create technical documentation, including design documents, procedures, and standards. - Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, able to write high-quality documentation and produce operational reports. Qualifications Required: - Experience supporting Linux and Windows servers, including problem investigation, resolution, patching, and vulnerability remediation. - Ability to support private cloud infrastructure components like VMware, NSX, and Aria. - Previous experience managing services in Azure public cloud and technical certifications recommended. - Enthusiastic about application logging, monitoring, and alerting using APIs and tools like Azure alerts, Dynatrace, Splunk. - Networking experience and familiarity with OSI model, routing, proxy, firewall, NSG, DNS, DHCP, SSH, SCP/SFTP. - Ability to understand and develop basic scripts using bash, Python, or any other programming language. - Good understanding of IAM, Certificates, GIT/Bitbucket, Windows AD, and Infrastructure as code. - Proficient with leveraging tools like curl, openssl, Wireshark, nmap. - Participate in on-call rotation, security audits, and annual DR exercise. - Experience working with ITSM tools like Remedy, Jira, Confluence. - Complex problem-solving skills and ability to come up with solutions to difficult problems. - Proactive in identifying and resolving process issues, app security, and performance issues. - Experience in conflict management and negotiation to align multiple business units to common business goals. - Stay abreast of current technologies and make recommendations based on knowledge and research.
