About The Team
About the TeamAt Workday, the Community Engineering Team supports the customer interaction and content websites for our customers. We design and develop new features, improvements, and major technical initiatives for all components of the community platform. We care for code through the entirety of the Software Development Lifecycle: Design, Develop, Test, Deploy. Our Development Engineers, QA, and Dev Ops Engineers collaborate with Product Managers, and partner teams to understand requirements and deliver value to Workday's customers.
About The Role
In Community Engineering, quality engineers develop, maintain and complete software test plans for manual testing and programs for testing. You will work closely with the team to deliver reliable manual based on the requirements for our new offerings and features. The engineer will write test cases for requirements as well as leverage our test case management system to identify regression tests that can be performed. You will collaborate with other team members to decide the efficient mix of test coverage for features the team delivers.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
- 3 plus years of manual software testing.
- Proficiency in the development of test cases and success criteria for software functionality and applying those tests to find and diagnose software defects.
- Must also have experience in functional and non-functional testing
Other Qualifications:
- Solid ability in Analytical Thinking to for analyzing complex test scenarios or identifying trends in defects
- Proven track record in Collaboration with development and product teams to integrate quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Strong interpersonal skills, optimally conveying defects, test strategies and risks to various audiences.
- Strong customer-Focused attitude, proactively advocating for all testing activities.
- Excellent diligent approach, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in testing activities including test case development, execution and troubleshooting.
