Job Description

Key responsibilities:

1. Ensure statutory tax compliances, including timely filing of TDS and GST returns for all group companies.
2. Maintain proper documentation and records required for statutory reporting and audits across all group companies.
3. Calculate GST, prepare TDS workings, and ensure timely day-to-day entries in Tally.
4. Monitor Income Tax and GST department notices, demands, audits, assessments, and proceedings, and handle tax assessments, audits, and queries from tax authorities.
5. Visit relevant departments as and when required.
6. Support the annual closing processes and coordinate with the audit team.
7. Coordinate with the Vivanta Taj Shillong finance team for statutory works.
8. Perform any other duties or responsibilities related to statutory finance as required by management or regulatory authorities.
9. Prepare timely Management Information Systems (MIS) reports as and when required.
