Job Description

Financial Reporting: Prepare and examine financial records, produce error-free accounting reports, and present financial summaries.
Account Management: Manage the general ledger, perform account reconciliations, and maintain the accuracy of financial records.
Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), tax regulations, and internal controls; assist with audits.
Month-end and Year-end Close: Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
Process Improvement: Review and recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures to increase efficiency.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
Analysis: Analyze financial information, monitor accounting data, and provide recommendations to support business decisions.

Qualifications and skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA is often preferred.
Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role, with a minimum of five years of experience often required.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, proficiency in accounting software Tally ERP, and advanced skills in MS Excel.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
