Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
Perform account reconciliations and analyses
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks)
Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
