About The Role

Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely posting of entries in Tally and Zoho Books.
• Prepare and file statutory returns including TDS, GST, and other monthly/quarterly compliance filings.
• Handle bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly closing activities.
• Support payroll-related processes and maintain basic compliance knowledge of PF, ESI, and Professional Tax (PT).
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and analysis using Excel.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and auditors for financial reviews, data validation, and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• Assist in improving accounting processes and maintaining organized records.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in core accounting function.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Zoho Books, and MS Excel.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, return filings, and statutory compliance.
• Experience with bookkeeping, data entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of PF/ESI/PT processes.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage deadlines.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
