Senior Account | Hyderabad | Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance and accounts team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in accounting operations, statutory compliance, and day-to-day financial management. This role requires excellent working knowledge of Tally, GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and other core accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely posting of entries in Tally and Zoho Books .
Prepare and file statutory returns including TDS , GST , and other monthly/quarterly compliance filings.
Handle bookkeeping , accounts payable/receivable, and monthly closing activities.
Support payroll-related processes and maintain basic compliance knowledge of PF, ESI, and Professional Tax (PT) .
Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and analysis using Excel .
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and auditors for financial reviews, data validation, and documentation.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and compliance requirements.
Assist in improving accounting processes and maintaining organized records.

Required Skills Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
4-6 years of hands-on experience in core accounting function.
Proficiency in Tally ERP , Zoho Books , and MS Excel .
Good knowledge of GST , TDS , return filings, and statutory compliance.
Experience with bookkeeping, data entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Good understanding of PF/ESI/PT processes.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage deadlines.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
