Sr. Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with GST, IT, and Import-Export regulations. As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance while maximizing financial performance. Your key responsibilities will include managing accounting operations such as ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will need to ensure accurate and timely compliance with GST, IT, and Import-Export regulations. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare and analyze financial statements, cash flow reports, and budgets. Handling Import-Export documentation, customs duties, and foreign exchange transactions will also be part of your role. It will be essential for you to collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits and financial compliance. Implementing and enhancing internal financial controls and accounting best practices will be crucial, along with staying informed about changing tax laws, financial regulations, and compliance requirements. To qualify for this position, you should hold an MBA in Finance, M.Com or a related field, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial operations. Strong knowledge of GST, IT filings, and Import-Export compliance is necessary. Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools is expected. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential, along with strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including Provident Fund. The work schedule may involve day shifts or rotational shifts. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and prior experience of 5 years in accounting, 4 years in GST, and 2 years in Import Operations is preferred. The work location is in person.
