Job Description

As an Accounts Executive, your role involves handling various tax compliance tasks, import/export transactions, invoicing, e-way bill management, general accounting, audit support, and other related activities. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - **GST Compliance:** - Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns. - Ensuring compliance with GST laws, including reconciliation of input tax credit and filing GST returns. - Preparation and maintenance of GST-related documentation. - Reviewing invoices for GST applicability and resolving any discrepancies. - **Income Tax:** - Preparation of income tax returns for the company and employees. - Maintaining tax records and meeting all deadlines. - Ensuring compliance with income tax laws and filing TDS returns. - Assisting in income tax audits and assessments. - **Import and Export Transactions:** - Managing and reconciling import/export documentation such as Bill of Entry and Shipping Bill. - Handling export benefits like duty drawback and MEIS. - Ensuring compliance with customs regulations. - **Invoicing:** - Generating accurate and timely invoices. - Reviewing and processing vendor and customer invoices. - Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements, including GST. - Resolving invoice discrepancies and following up on unpaid invoices. - **E-Way Bill & Delivery Challan:** - Generating and managing E-Way bills for goods transportation. - Preparing delivery challans and tracking inventory movement. - Ensuring compliance with E-Way Bill requirements. - Handling bank reconciliations. - **General Accounting:** - Maintaining accurate and timely financial records. - Assisting in preparing financial statements and reports. - Ensuring timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts. - Performing general ledger accounting, including journal entries and accruals. - **Audit and Compliance:** - Assisting in internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and clarifications. - Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and policies. - Staying updated on changes in tax laws and accounting regulations. - **Other Accounts Related Activities:** - Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Monitoring cash flow and fund management. - Collaborating with the finance team for cost control measures. - Supporting any other accounting and finance-related tasks as required by management. You should possess the following skills: - Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and Accounting Standards. - Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Office, especially Excel. - Experience with Import/Export documentation and statutory compliance. - Familiarity with E-Way Bill, Delivery Challan, and other statutory requirements. - Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. - Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. - Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial data. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant work experience. The work location is in person.,
