Job Title: SQL Developer (ADF)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled

SQL Developer with expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF)

to design, build, and optimize data solutions across cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust ETL/ELT pipelines, managing database objects, and ensuring high-performance, scalable, and secure data workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
Develop and manage ADF pipelines, data flows, linked services, triggers, and integration runtimes.
Work with Azure SQL / SQL Server to design and optimize database schemas and processes.
Implement and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale data processing.
Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with data engineers, BI teams, and application teams to integrate data solutions.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all platforms.
Perform root cause analysis and debugging of database and ADF-related issues.
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of data pipelines in production environments.

Required Skills & Experience

5–9 years of strong experience in SQL development and database programming.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF):

Pipeline development
Data flows
Linked services
Triggers & Integration Runtimes

Strong experience with MS SQL Server (T-SQL, performance tuning, query optimization).
Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
Experience working with Azure SQL, Azure Storage (Blob/Data Lake).
Knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps (added advantage).
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
