Job Description

Role: SQL DBA

Location: Naraina, Delhi

Mode: Hybrid

Type: Contract

Job Description:

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

Strong proficiency in SQL Server / MySQL database administration, maintenance, and optimization.
Experience with database design, schema management, indexing, and query optimization.
Expertise in backup, restore, disaster recovery strategies, and database archiving.
Experience with data retention policies, purging, and archiving large datasets.
Performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of production databases.
Knowledge of high availability, replication, clustering, and failover mechanisms.
Familiarity with security, user management, and data access control.
Experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
Familiarity with automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
Sound understanding of Agile methodologies and collaboration with development teams.

Nice-to-Have / Optional:

Exposure to cloud databases (Azure SQL).
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
Experience working with Data Lakes, large-scale data platforms, and data archival solutions.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
