Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL Server databases (2012 and above)
Perform database migrations (on-prem → on-prem / on-prem → Azure SQL / IaaS)
Maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) setups
Execute database backups, restores, and recovery operations
Monitor and improve database performance through tuning and optimization
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on deployments
Implement and enforce database security policies
Automate recurring DBA tasks using PowerShell, T-SQL, or similar scripting tools
Prepare and maintain documentation for configurations, standards, and procedures.
4–6 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA
Strong experience with installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching
Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization
Proven experience in database migration projects
Sound understanding of HA/DR strategies, backup/recovery, replication, and log shipping
Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex T-SQL queries
