Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Spring Boot L2 Production Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide Level 2 support for microservices-based applications, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance. The role involves troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing Java-based applications while working closely with development and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide L2 production support for Spring Boot microservices and troubleshoot issues efficiently.

Debug and resolve application-level issues using Java debugging techniques.

Monitor and optimize application performance using tools like Dynatrace.

Work with Kafka for message queue management and troubleshooting.

Manage databases including MySQL solutions.

Collaborate with cloud teams for infrastructure management on AWS.

Use GIT for version control and code management.

Assist in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Support application deployments and ensure smooth releases.

Provide recommendations on architecture improvements and best practices.

Document resolutions, create knowledge base articles, and share expertise with the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in supporting and debugging Spring Boot microservices applications.

Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Hands-on experience with Kafka, MySQL databases.

Expertise in cloud platforms, especially AWS.

Proficiency in Java debugging techniques and problem-solving.

Familiarity with Dynatrace or similar monitoring tools.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.

Strong understanding of GIT for version control.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication skills to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have:

Experience in containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.

Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Knowledge of security best practices in microservices architecture.
