INTERNAL AUDITOR for Assistant Manager,Manager and Sr Manager role

To provide assurance to the management on the effectiveness of risk management and control procedures across the business, ensuring risks are being appropriately identified and managed across the business in a cost efficient and sustainable manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES Developing annual internal audit plan and defining audit scope Develop an understanding of the function to be audited and use business knowledge, analytical skills and experience in identifying findings and improvements Closely working with the operations, business and compliance teams; develop strong relationships with the cross functional teams Identifying control weaknesses, discussing and agreeing these observations with management, preparing well-drafted audit reports and findings, and presenting these findings to management. Ensure regular liaison with all functions and resolution of all audit observations and recommendations. Prepare an agile internal financial control framework in line with regulatory requirements Identify gaps in internal controls if any and recommend procedures to plug control gaps and suggest improvements for bringing process efficiencies. Unlocking value through process reviews and design transformations across functions Keep abreast with the latest developments, techniques, methods, tools, and procedures that affect audits.
REQUIREMENTS Educational qualification: CA Only (Certifications in IIA, CIA will be added advantage) 6-9 years of experience in internal/process audits Sports passionate Strong analytical and problem solving skills to understand, organize, evaluate diverse information and discern and address the root cause of issues Open-minded, agile, capable to adapt to changing and demanding environment Must have good initiative, able to set and attain goals, meet deadlines, multi-task, and cope well with non-structured assignments Strong communication skills (oral and written). This is a highly collaborative role involving interaction with multiple stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Ability to effectively interact with internal/external team and work well with a collaborative approach. Logical and strategic thinking to find out deeper insights, including root cause analysis, and ability to present findings in a structured way. Ability to exercise professional skepticism and judgement while evaluating risks and controls Ability to work and deliver under strict timelines Must have strong organizational and prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines. Curiosity to continuously learn and improve processes and compliance
