Job Description

Sports Category Manager

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies for sports-related products to drive sales growth and market share.
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and optimize product assortments.
Manage product lifecycles from conception to retirement, including sourcing, pricing, promotion, and inventory management.
Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product launches and promotions.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and product quality.
Monitor category performance, prepare regular reports, and implement data-driven adjustments to strategies.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience
in category management, specifically within the
sports industry

Excellent communication skills
