Specialist - Treasury & Credit control

Trade Finance Operations:

• Execution of Trade Finance Products: Handle end-to-end processing of trade finance instruments including Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC), Buyers Credit, Supplier Credit, and Supply Chain Financing.

• Bank Coordination & Documentation: Liaise with banks and internal teams to ensure timely issuance, amendment, and closure of trade finance instruments with complete and compliant documentation.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to RBI, FEMA, and other applicable regulatory guidelines in all trade finance transactions.

• Working Capital Management: Support in setting up and maintaining working capital limits, including preparation and submission of required documentation to banks.

• MIS & Reporting: Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to trade finance utilization, bank limits, and performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders.

• KYC & Bank Documentation: Maintain and update KYC documentation for all banking partners and authorized signatories across entities.

• Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support for internal, statutory, and regulatory audits related to trade finance activities.

• Process Improvement: Contribute to automation and transformation initiatives to streamline trade finance workflows and reduce manual intervention.

Cash & Treasury Management:

• Cash Flow Monitoring: Assist in daily cash flow tracking, surplus cash investment, and fund transfers across Tata Communications India entities.

• Bank Account Maintenance: Manage opening, closing, and modification of bank accounts including signatory updates and documentation.

• Treasury Accounting: Support accounting of treasury deals and monthly closing activities in SAP (S4HANA), including investments and banking transactions.

• Audit & Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements for banking and cash management operations.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal user teams and banks to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth treasury functioning.

• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare cash flow statements, variance analysis, and treasury MIS for management review and external reporting.

• Fund Management Support: Assist in investment activities related to Provident Fund (PF) and Gratuity Fund as per company guidelines.

• Transformation Projects: Support treasury-led transformation and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and control.

Other Knowledge/skills

• Good Communication skills, Advanced Excel skills, Financial Analysis & Modelling
• Experience working in S4 Hana accounting system would be an added advantage.
