Executive-Payroll

Asst. Operations Manager/Operations Manager

The Executive - Payroll is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with payroll regulations, and minimizing errors. This role focuses on process efficiency, training team members, and adhering to service level agreements (SLA) to deliver high-quality offshore payroll services.

Timesheet Processing:

  • Process weekly and monthly timesheets with accuracy.
  • Ensure payroll calculations align with company policies and client requirements.
  • Validate data before processing to prevent discrepancies.

TAT for Each Task:

  • Ensure all payroll tasks are completed within the prescribed turnaround time.
  • Monitor and track pending tasks to avoid delays.
  • Escalate issues promptly to ensure smooth workflow.

Training and Development:

  • Provide training sessions on payroll regulations and industry best practices.
  • Keep the payroll team updated on compliance changes and process improvements.
  • Support new team members in learning payroll systems and procedures.

Errors Management:

  • Identify, analyze, and minimize payroll errors, both internal and external.
  • Implement corrective measures to improve accuracy in payroll processing.
  • Regularly review payroll data to ensure compliance and error-free processing.

Service Level Agreement (SLA) Compliance:

  • Ensure all payroll operations adhere to agreed SLAs.
  • Maintain documentation and records for audits and compliance checks.
  • Work proactively to improve payroll efficiency and service quality.
  • Process weekly and monthly timesheets accurately and on time.
  • Ensure all payroll-related tasks are completed within the defined turnaround time (TAT).
  • Provide training to the payroll team on regulations and best practices.
  • Identify and minimize internal and external payroll errors.
  • Complete all daily payroll tasks without omissions while adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in offshore accounting.
  • Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll calculations.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and email management skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
