Accounts Officer

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Account Officer with expertise in accounting, taxation, and compliance to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings, and contributing to financial audits and reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate accounting records, including ledgers, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
  
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) on time.
  
• Handle Income Tax filings, TDS computation, and TDS returns.
  
• Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, and TDS regulations.
  
• Preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and audit schedules.
  
• Reconcile vendor and customer accounts and manage vendor payments.
  
• Support internal and statutory audits by providing necessary documentation.
  
• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and payments.
  
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards.
  
• Collaborate with management for timely financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, etc.).
  
• 4-5 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial compliance (experience in both CA firms and industry roles is a plus).
  
• In-depth knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and TDS regulations.
  
• Certification or training in GST or Income Tax is an advantage.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or similar platforms.
  
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools.
  
• Solid understanding of financial reporting and statutory audit processes.
  
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
