Job Description

Responsibilities:

TheProcurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasinggoods and services that meet the organizations quality standards, budgetrequirements, and delivery schedules. This role ensures that procurementprocesses are cost-effective, transparent, and compliant with internal policiesand external regulations.

Sourcing& Vendor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliersbased on price, quality, service, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationshipswith vendors and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated onindustry trends and supplier performance.

ProcurementProcess & Negotiation

  • Prepare and process purchase orders,contracts, and requisitions.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, anddelivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials,equipment, and services.

Cost& Quality Control

  • Monitorsupplier performance to ensure adherence to quality standards and contractualobligations.
  • Analyzeprocurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
  • Implementand maintain procurement best practices and strategies.

Compliance& Documentation

  • Ensureall procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant laws.
  • Maintainaccurate records of supplier contracts, agreements, and purchase documentation.
  • Supportinternal and external audits by providing required procurement documentation.

Cross-FunctionalCollaboration

  • Work closely with finance, operations, andproject teams to forecast procurement needs.
  • Assist in developing budgets and procurementplans aligned with business objectives.
  • Resolve supplier or contract disputeseffectively and efficiently.

Keyskills and attributes

  • 6-11 years of Procurement/SCM work experience,preferably from IT/ services industry.
  • Effective Negotiation and Cost OptimizationSkills
  • ERP hands on experience, preferably on Oracle
  • Strong Knowledge in Source to Payment processflow.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations necessary tohandle Indian Procurement of Services and Goods
  • Vendor Management and Contract Management Skill
  • Good level of Stakeholder Management
  • Good Knowledge in MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint,Word)
