Job Description

Job Overview:

As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our operations, implementing Lean manufacturing principles, and digitizing our processes for enhanced efficiency. You will lead strategic projects aimed at streamlining operations, reducing costs, and improving overall productivity. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement, implementing Lean methodologies, and utilizing data-driven insights to ensure our operations are at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization, identifying areas of optimization and cost-saving opportunities.
Lean Manufacturing: Implement Lean principles, including 5S, Poka Yoke, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping, to eliminate waste and enhance operational efficiency.
Operation Digitization: Lead the digitization efforts to streamline processes, with a focus on implementing SAP PP and SAP MM modules and the SAP PM Module across all plants.
Project Leadership: Lead and manage strategic projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, while delivering tangible results and value to the organization.
KPI Monitoring: Oversee the monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and major focus areas across all plants related to operations.
Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improve operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of operational improvements and lean projects.
Change Management: Guide the organization through change initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Global Communication: Maintain communication with the Germany group for global KPIs and corporate communication to align the organizations goals.
On-Time Delivery: Focus on monitoring and continuously improving on-time delivery of products and spare parts to meet customer expectations.
Lead Time Reduction: Work on reducing lead times for standard products by optimizing procurement and in-house processes.
Automation Strategies: Drive the standardization of processes with the implementation of automation strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Lean Project Deployment: Implement plant-wise lean projects with regular assessments and quarterly reviews.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a related field (Engineering, Operations Management, or similar).
4 to 6 years of experience as an Operational Excellence Specialist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of successfully implementing lean methodologies, cost-saving measures, and process improvements.
Expertise in project management, change management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Knowledge of SAP modules (SAP PP, SAP MM, SAP PM) is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Commitment to delivering innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
