Job Description

Role Overview: As a Specialist II in Compliance Monitoring at TransUnion, you will be responsible for contributing to the creation, implementation, and execution of global compliance programs and policies. Your role will involve providing compliance direction, support, oversight, and training resources to assist TransUnion in meeting its legal and business obligations. You will work closely with assigned business units as a trusted advisor, ensuring that compliance and ethics program activities align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your knowledge of relevant regulations and expertise in compliance processes to assess, monitor, and remediate compliance issues within TransUnion. - Act as a business partner to assigned units, integrating compliance and ethics program activities into their business operations. - Conduct compliance assessments, identify control gaps, develop remediation plans, and communicate audit reports to senior management. - Demonstrate understanding of the business unit's function, processes, and compliance requirements to drive effective compliance programs. - Attend and support local management meetings from a compliance and ethics perspective, contributing to decision-making and defining appropriate solutions. - Manage metrics related to your role, provide content for leadership reports, and perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree/diploma in risk management, finance, economics, business management, statistics, computer science, pre-law, or a related field. - 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Big 4 firm or a mix of external and internal roles within the financial services industry. - Experience in regulatory audit, monitoring, operational compliance audit, control testing, and knowledge of US regulations is preferred. - Strong leadership, communication skills, technical knowledge, and writing abilities. - Reside in a home that is fibre-ready and has space for comfortable and confidential work. - Minimum of a 100 Meg Fibre line is required for effective work performance. Additional Company Details: - The role is a hybrid position, requiring regular performance of job responsibilities virtually and in-person at an assigned TransUnion office location for a minimum of two days a week. - The Global Capability Centre Africa requires employees to prioritize integrity, do the right things the right way, and serve as an example for others.
