Job Description

As a Specialist - Customer Screening at Barclays, you will be embarking on a transformative journey where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct enhanced due diligence (EDD), screening, and periodic reviews for new and existing clients in accordance with AML/KYC regulations. - Perform risk assessments for clients and counterparties, particularly with respect to PEP, sanctions, and adverse media. - Monitor customer profiles and escalate any unusual patterns or behaviors indicating potential financial crime. - Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to financial crime. - Participate in the development and implementation of internal controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate financial crime risks. - Maintain accurate records of investigations, decisions, and risk assessments. - Demonstrate strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations, screening systems, and tools. - Understand banking operations and regulatory frameworks. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree. In this role based out of Noida, your purpose will be to complete EDD/Exits cases which include day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution. Key Accountability Areas: - Support day-to-day Enhance Due Diligence (EDD)/Exits initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution. - Execute EDD reviews on high-risk customers to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and policies. - Execute exit reviews on customers who are having their accounts closed to mitigate risk, aligned to compliance and internal policy. - Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate EDD and exit processes. - Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change in EDD and exit processes. - Develop and implement issue resolutions relating to any inefficient controls. - Develop reports and presentations on EDD and exit performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders. - Participate in projects and initiatives to improve EDD and exit efficiency and effectiveness. As an Analyst, you will be expected to meet the needs of stakeholders/customers through specialist advice and support, perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard, and lead and supervise a team if applicable. You will also be responsible for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to your work and contribute to the objectives of the broader sub-function. Additionally, you will be expected to demonstrate the Barclays Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship, as well as the Barclays Mindset to Empower, Challenge, and Drive.,
