Special Education Specialist

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role as a Special Education Specialist based in Singapore, with the flexibility to work partially from home. The role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans, and implementing strategies to support children with special education needs. The specialist will collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to foster an inclusive and effective learning environment. The role also includes monitoring progress, providing behavioral support, and ensuring that educational goals are met.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Special Education and Education strategies
• Experience and expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis
• Strong Communication skills, including collaboration with parents, educators, and stakeholders
• Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs
• Familiarity with creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications or training in behavior management, inclusive teaching, or special education are a plus
