Special Education Specialist

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Special Education Specialist, based in Lucknow with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves supporting the educational and developmental needs of students with special education requirements. Responsibilities include creating and implementing individualized education plans, utilizing effective teaching strategies, applying behavior analysis techniques, and collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other educators to ensure a supportive learning environment. The specialist will also monitor progress and provide tailored interventions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis techniques
• Strong Communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues effectively
• Experience and ability to work with children in educational or developmental settings
• Extensive knowledge and skills in Education, particularly in curriculum adaptation and instructional techniques for special needs
• Degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
• Patience, empathy, and interpersonal skills to work with diverse learners
