Job Description

Develop and implement strategies to optimize spare parts inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
Coordinate with procurement team to source spare parts from approved suppliers, negotiate pricing, and establish procurement schedules.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of spare parts orders, including order entry, picking, packing, and shipping.
Collaborate with logistics team to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, manage transportation costs, and optimize delivery schedules.
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
Implement and maintain inventory management software systems to track inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and generate reports.
Conduct regular audits of spare parts inventory to identify discrepancies, obsolete stock, and slow-moving items, and take appropriate action to optimize inventory levels.
Provide technical support and assistance to customers regarding spare parts inquiries, pricing, availability, and order status.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for spare parts management to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Train and supervise spare parts team members, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback as needed.
