Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) – South Indian Cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic South Indian dishes, maintaining high food quality standards, and managing kitchen operations within their section. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and present high-quality South Indian dishes (e.g., dosa, idli, vada, sambar, rasam, kurma, etc.) Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of food. Supervise and train commis and junior kitchen staff in the South Indian section. Ensure hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained in the kitchen. Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Work closely with Sous Chef and Head Chef for menu planning and food trials. Handle food preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, depending on the schedule. Ensure compliance with food safety and HACCP standards. Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in South Indian cuisine as a CDP or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of regional South Indian cooking techniques and ingredients. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure. Good communication and leadership skills. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. Culinary degree or certification is a plus.
