Sous Chef – Continental Cuisine

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in all Continental dishes.
  • Plan and execute menu items, specials, and food presentation.
  • Maintain hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness as per company standards.
  • Manage inventory, wastage, and cost control.
  • Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or CDP in Continental cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of sauces, grills, steaks, pastas, and plating.
  • Experience in cafe/lounge/bar-style kitchens preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
