Role Description

The Sous Chef position at Myco Group is a full-time on-site role located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, food preparation, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards. Day-to-day tasks include supervising kitchen staff, ensuring consistency in food quality, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The Sous Chef will also contribute to menu planning and development.


Qualifications

  • Experience in kitchen operations, food preparation, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards
  • A strong understanding of food safety regulations and compliance
  • Skills in supervising kitchen staff and ensuring consistency in food quality
  • Proficiency in inventory management and contributing to menu planning and development
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
