Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef, located in Ahmedabad. The Sous Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, assist in menu planning and development, and maintain food quality and presentation. Responsibilities include managing kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, maintaining inventory, helping with staff training, and collaborating with the executive chef to create an excellent dining experience.

Qualifications

• Proven culinary skills, including cooking, food preparation, and understanding of diverse cuisines
• Strong leadership and team management abilities to mentor kitchen staff and maintain a cohesive team
• Knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen hygiene practices, and inventory management
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role is preferred
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is an advantage
• A passion for culinary innovation and delivering exceptional dining experiences
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
