Sourcing & Supply Chain Specialist Automotive Focus

As a Manufacturing Consultant, your role involves identifying and evaluating qualified suppliers and manufacturers, with a focus on automotive and aftermarket components. You will be responsible for conducting outreach, RFQs, and assessing supplier capabilities and certifications. Additionally, you will perform onsite supplier visits, audits, and technical evaluations across India. Your duties also include leading negotiations on pricing, timelines, and terms with vendors and suppliers, managing supply chain workflows, compiling detailed reports, supporting quality assurance processes, and acting as a local project lead to ensure client timelines are met. Qualifications required for this role: - 2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management. - Proven background in the automotive or aftermarket auto parts industry. - Solid understanding of Indian manufacturing capabilities, standards, and vendor ecosystems. - Excellent English communication skills for global coordination. - Strong negotiation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills. - Willingness to travel across India for supplier visits and evaluations. - Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP or sourcing tools is a plus. - Engineering background or technical product knowledge is an advantage.
