SOURCING & SUPPLY CHAIN - LEAD (EMS & BMS)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Supply Chain Lead, BMS & EMS to establish and manage the supply chain for our electronics-heavy systems. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for sourcing, vendor management, EMS coordination, inventory planning, and quality compliance for critical BMS and electronics components. You will play a pivotal role in building and scaling our supply chain strategy while supporting product and engineering teams.

What You Will Do:

  Lead end-to-end supply chain management for BMS electronics, PCBs, and power electronics components.



• 
  

  Identify, qualify, and manage EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) partners for prototype, pilot, and production builds.



• 
  

  Source critical components (ICs, connectors, MOSFETs, relays, passives, harnesses, etc.) focusing on cost, lead time, and quality.



• 
  

  Develop and maintain inventory planning processes to balance availability with cost efficiency and Manage local and international sourcing (India, China, Taiwan, Japan, US, EU) and logistics coordination.



• 
  

  Build strong relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and certification agencies to ensure timely delivery and compliance.



• 
  

  Ensure supplier quality, audits, and documentation compliance with AIS-156, ISO, PPAP, and EMI/EMC standards.



• 
  

  Drive cost optimization, risk mitigation, and alternate sourcing strategies during component shortages.



• Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, QA, and finance teams to align supply chain with product and business needs.

What We re Looking For

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.


• Strong knowledge of BMS components, Li-ion cells, DC contactors, and advanced electronic systems used in EVs.


• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management tools.

  Proven experience in supplier negotiation and managing procurement teams.



• 
  

  Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration for large-scale projects.



• 
  

  Deep understanding of EV technology, supply chain dynamics, and industry trends.



• 
  

  Knowledge of compliance requirements for EV and battery systems (safety & environmental standards).



• 
  

  Expertise in cost analysis, supply chain optimization, and demand forecasting.



• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
